In 2001 won the SilentTrack Tuned Rail Dampers the Innovation Award for noise control in the Netherlands. In 2018, a further development towards an improved CTRD2.0 system was realized.
At the beginning of this century, measures to reduce rail noise were necessary due to the further urbanization, the better use of space and the further increase in both freight and passenger transport by rail.

The first SilentTrack prototypes were produced in 2000; these were subjected to extensive and rigorous testing, which proved that the SilentTrack system achieves a significant reduction in peak sound levels.

CTRD2.0 Clipped Tuned Rail Dampers are installed worldwide and tested by independent measuring institutes. The effect of CTRD2.0 Clipped Tuned Rail Dampers and the reduction of wear on the rails has been demonstrably proven by the reports.
LED BY INNOVATIE
After extensive research and development, we initially produced together with British Steel SilentTrack: a complete system of tuned tuned rail dampers.
The CTRD2.0 development does not stand still. With currently production locations in Europe and Asia, Uuden Rail Products is officially certified by DEKRA and Deutsche Bahn with the product CTRD2.0 according to the latest standards! ProRail SPC00323-V003 and Deutsche Bahn DBS 918 290.
EFFICIENT INSTALLATION
Installation and assembly possible in collaboration with local contractors. Advanced installation techniques allow to install up to 800 meters in a single four-hour decommissioning period, minimizing decommissioning and installation time.
A PERMANENT SOLUTION
The system is maintenance-free and does not adversely affect maintenance operations.
